Known Work

Hover over this page and you will see a collection of drop down menus, one page for every painting known. Titles in (parenthesis) are working titles I have given the paintings. Unless otherwise noted, paintings, sketches, etc. are the property of Clarke University (Clarke College) or the Sisters of Charity Mother House in Dubuque, Iowa. In most cases the dates are unknown.

It is my intention to include to feature a photograph of each image. I will add my personal interpretation and as I continue my research, I will present this in the narrative. So visit again as these pages will change, update and evolve!

It is my hope to visit the Midwest in the summer of 2012 and will include new photographs.

If you have any work by Sister Mary James Ann, SMJA, James Ann Walsh, Miss Ann Walsh or Sister Mary Seraphia, I would be pleased to feature them here and include your story about them if you would like to share it.

Enjoy. Comments are welcome!
